MATA GUJRI MEDICAL CENTRE, a charity organization, was initiated as a collective effort of a few cocerned residents of Greater Kailash, who felt the need for such a hospital to serve its neigh-borhood, which could be frequented by even the lower income group of the society.

With the passage of time, seeing the good work being done, the SANGAT started donating Cash, costly equipment etc, and the centre started growing. The present building was built on a piece of land of Gurdwara Sahib, by a visionary & a Philanthropist and came into being in April 2002.

The hospital has been offering OPD Services to all, at minimal rates. Token charges of Rs 20- & Rs. 30- are for consulting the various Doctors & Senior Doctors respectively. X-Ray by 200MA machine costs only Rs 170/-, ECG Rs.60/-, Ultrasound Rs.250/- for half and Rs. 360/- for full abdomen. The following are the Facilities available at the centre.

The Centre has specialist Doctors on its roll for almost all the above mentioned disciplines.

In the physiotherapy department, all facilities like CPM, IFT, Diathermy, Lumber & Cervical Trac-tion, Stimulator, Wax Bath, Excercises are available under the supervision of experienced Phys-iotherapists.

The laboratory undertaking various tests is now equipped with the latest machines for fast & accurate results and is undertaking the following tests.

Blood Sugar (Complete), cholesterol, HDL, Triglycerides, Serum Creatinine Bood Urea, Com-plete Haemogram, Stool test, Urine Analysis, BP, Bilirubin, Cultures, PSA, Torch, FSH Testoster-one, TSH, Widal Test, ASO, CRP, Uric Acid.

The hospital also has a full fledged Dental Department with a good number of Dentists & Orthodentists.

The Daycare Operation Theatre of the hospital caters to minor surgeries. Cataract operations are undertaken at very nominal charges. Superspecialty Diagnosis & treatment for Glucoma  and retinal disorders is also available at the centre including Field test, Angeography of the eye and Green Laser for Retinal Corrections.
